Daily Affirmation #1 M-S-H-T

MSHT...Make Something Happen Today. That's our goal today. To make something happen. But not t-shirts saying "Make Something Happen Today." I tried that and some guy in Boise who owns the rights threatened to MSHT with me in a state court.

Be creative today. Find your niche. Make sure no one else is already living there, then mark your territory (maybe with a note or something). For example, yesterday, it rained heavily here in New York. While all around me, people were complaining and wearing those terribly distasteful rain boots, I was MSHT'n. I stood outside with a few buckets collecting the rain. Then I brought it inside, where I added a few boxes of Kosher salt. Today, it is my plan to sell that fresh, salted water to local eateries. While everyone else is praising our clear skies, I'm making a killing as the only guy in NYC with top of the line salted water.

Make it happen today. Be awesome, live on the edge, make a million dollars. Lets do it!

INSPIRA-WORD OF THE DAY: WELLNESS

Easy word, right? Know the meaning...right? Put together in the mid-1990s by a friend of mine in Northern California, WELLNESS is actually a combination of two other words. WELL: something that is deep (like the human soul). It also holds water, which is...life force. The other word is NESS, which comes from Elliot Ness, former district attorney credited with taking down the Chicago mob including Al Capone. He was an enforcer. Put the two origins together and you have...an enforcer of deep life force. That can be you today. In your world today, be an ENFORCER OF DEEP LIFE FORCE. In other words, BE WELLNESS.

So you might be asking yourself, "(Insert Name Here), I want to be a success, but I don't know what it even looks like." Well, below, I'm posting some pictures that I think define what it means to win, to be successful, to championize your world. Enjoy, be inspired, lets do this.

LADY AND HER TROPHIES

Question: Are these all her's? Did she win these, or did she make them? Maybe she just sells them. Perhaps this isn't even her home? Are the authorities on their way? Either way, a lot of trophies like this always equals one thing: success.

CHAMPION FAMILIES

This is the Anderson's. What is special about them? Why are they winners? Because they won these two children in a church raffle. Beginner's luck? Maybe, but these guys have two more children won in a raffle than you do. Me thinks its time to redefine what you mean by "luck." Way to go Pam and Keith.

GIVE THIS ONE A HAND

Ace and 10 = Winner! Add it up. Ace plus 10. 21? No. 11. That's right, I played it as a one. Why? Because a champion likes to mix it up, take it to the edge, throw the poop at the ceiling, see what sticks. Don't like poop on your ceiling? Maybe your not ready to win.

So what do I really mean by "the beginning of the end?" Simple. Change is all about change-ing. You say, "But Matt, I changed yesterday. Do I really need to change today?" Well, let me answer that question with another question (Who am I, Socrates? Question: Do I want to be Socrates? Maybe.) Question: Were you the very best yesterday? You say "yes'? Well, did you climb K2, solve world hunger and the Palistenian/Isreali conflict, birth a black/white/asian/chinese baby, and make dinner for your hungry bastard of a husband? Oh, you just went to work, pretended to smoke to get a couple extra breaks, and found one more way to delete files to avoid being fired for looking at adult material on company computers? Then I would say, "No, you were not the best." Close, but not the best. With this in mind, we can then say that today, you need to change. That is what I mean by "The beginning of the end." If at the end of the day, you are not the very best, then your life needs some CHANGING!

Something led you to this site, and my guess it was the old change-o-meter inside you. The bell has rung. Period 2 is starting. Don't be late, or its half an unexcused absence. Welcome.

WELCOME TO THE BEGINNING OF THE END...

Scared? "The Beginning of the End?" Sounds pretty scary, no? But if you read this blog, follow my plan for "succesitivity", and believe in that little voice inside of you we life changers call 'you', I can assure you that fear will not be a factor. Why? I'll tell you...in the next post. Its right this way.

I do not really have time to tell you at this moment, but soon, very soon, this blog will be actively providing ways and means to a better you. I'll post advice, positive quotes, sneezing Panda bears, whatever it takes to bring you to a positive place in life, or as I like to call it, a 360 degree change from where you are now. Seriously though, I am really busy right now, so stay tuned.
